Luscious Lunch is a hand-made surreal collage exploring appetite, indulgence, and the way desire can shape identity and thought.

A figure’s head is replaced by a lavish arrangement of food — layered textures, bright colours, and overflowing forms suggesting consumption not only of food, but of ideas, culture, and excess. The composition balances humour with unease, inviting reflection on nourishment, obsession, and the blurred line between need and indulgence.

Hand-cut imagery is carefully assembled to create depth and narrative, encouraging slow looking and repeated discovery. The longer you sit with the piece, the more its playful surface gives way to deeper questions around satisfaction and excess.
